Badger
About
Badger is a family owned and operated New Hampshire business that got its start in 1995, when a former construction contractor needed a solution to the chapped hands he and his carpenters endured throughout the severe New England winters. Unable to find a lotion strong enough to heal their chapped hands, he decided to create his own mixture of beeswax and olive oil. The experiment was a success, and a company was born.
Today, what was once a small project in a home kitchen has grown into a business that sells balms, moisturizers, oils and soaps internationally. But the thriving company hasn’t lost sight of what’s most important: Badger is dedicated to making high quality products that are good for people and the environment. Its organic, eco-friendly products are made using ingredients that are sustainably grown, and entirely free of parabens, synthetic fragrances and dyes, and other contaminants.
Why We Love Them
We know what it’s like to have painfully dry hands in the long winter months. Thanks to Badger, we’ll never have to experience that feeling again. Their balms provide instant relief for cracked, chapped skin. They also smell really great. The formula has been refined to include aloe, sweet birch and castor oil, all of which combine with the beeswax and olive oil base to create a pretty fabulous concoction. We’re wild about the aroma, but if you prefer to go odourless, there’s also an unscented option.
In addition to their flagship product, Badger offers plenty of other items. They’ve got certified organic, all-natural, chemical-free body care products, including foot balms, moisturizers and body oils. They also make natural, chemical-free sunscreens and bug sprays, rubs for sore muscles and joints, and special aromatherapy balms. And let’s not forget their baby and beauty collections. Who wouldn’t love a balm that helps kids drift off to dreamland, or facial oil that smells like Damascus rose?
Every Badger product is designed to protect, soothe and heal. So no matter what you choose, you can be sure you’ll be in good hands – and that they’ll be soft and smooth.
