Endangered Species combines indulgence with activism. They donate 10% of their net profits annually to 10% GiveBack Partners including Rainforest Trust, Wildlife Conservation Network, African Wildlife Foundation, and See the Wild! In fact, Endangered Species has generated over $1.3 million in the past three years through their chocolate sales.
In addition to donating a portion of profits to wildlife conservation organizations, Endangered Species sources their premium ingredients from farmers who support sustainable farming practices. Their chocolates are Certified Fair Trade, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Vegan (aside from their Milk Chocolate Bar).
Why We Love Them
The premium ingredients that Endangered Species uses in making their chocolate really shine through the finished product. We're big fans of the icy Forest Mint Dark Chocolate Bar, as well as the simple yet full bodied Dark Chocolate Bar with 72% Cocoa.
Packaging is also a key element of what makes Endangered Species stand out from the herd. The inside of each wrapper contains insightful knowledge and information about the particular animal on your favourite bar. Break off a piece of chocolate and learn a little something about chimpanzees, black panthers, sea otters, grizzly bears, and more of our fellow animal friends!
